Believe it or not, in just six short months Great Racers will begin arriving in Kirkwood, Missouri, for the start of the 2015 Great Race along Route 66. We are completely sold out with a record number of entries and a record number of rookies, and it should make for a fantastic event. And with the retirement of Barry and Irene Jason, we are going to have a different winner for the first time since 2011.

The route has been in place for some time, and now we have released the times and locations of the stops in each city, and the ad above (click it to make it bigger) will begin running shortly in Hemmings Motor News, Hemmings Classic Car, Hemmings Muscle Machines and Hemmings Sports and Exotic. Spectators need to mark their calendars now. All of these promoted stops will be great, as well as a few stops and sites just for the racers, including Cadillac Ranch, J&R Vintage Auto Museum, the Petrified Forest, the Oatman Hotel and Joshua Tree National Park.
