We’re officially in Cajun country! We rallied from Vicksburg, Mississippi to Baton Rouge, Louisiana today, but we made quite a few turns along the way. We made a lunch stop in Natchez, Mississippi, after driving on the Natchez Trace Parkway, and got a great view of the river, while we enjoyed a great meal. Then, we hit the road to Baton Rouge, finding all sorts of interesting roads along the way. The canopies created by intertwining tree branches created a very cool view, and it gave the racers a break from the intense sunshine. Overall, we had a great day of rallying, with lots of good food thrown in the mix. Check out our favorite photos of the day, and follow along with us as we go deeper into Louisiana tomorrow with a couple of very exciting stops in Crowley and Covington!
WE passed several of you drivers in Vicksburg and eastward along I-20 to your turn off to Baton Rouge. It was WONDERFUl to see the vintage cars and outfits of the drivers along America’s byways!! GO FOR IT!!
First time to see the Great Race! It was great to see the drivers come into Baton Rouge. Thank You!
I want to hear about the beads 😉 #fixitagainTravis
