Through the years we are glad to be able to keep the Great Race family connected by posting news about participants here. Some of it is sad news and some of it is happy news. Today it is very happy news to report that longtime navigator Scott Hudson of Rochester, N.Y., has gotten engaged to his girlfriend Sarah Hall.
Scott, who has navigated for his grandfather John Hudson since he was in grade school in their 1940 Chevrolet, first met Sarah in sixth grade homeroom. But it would be another five years before he would ask her out. Now, after six years of dating, the two have decided to get married. They are looking at a date in July of 2016. Scott and John are usually found in the top 10 each year of the Great Race. They finished 8th overall in 2012 and 10th overall in 2013.
Congratulations !! I
Congratulations Scott and Sarah.
Bill and I send along our congratulations and best wishes!!!!
It’s hard to believe little Scott Hudson is getting married. It seems like just the other day he was that skinny 15-year-old navigating for his grandpa.
Love them BOTH! Such a cute couple….Looking forward to 2016 date!!
BTW — Scott & Sarah’s hometown is Baldwinsville, N.Y.!!
