The 2013 Coker Tire Challenge is only three weeks away, but it is not too late to enter if you have not already done so. The eighth annual event at Cokers headquarters in Chattanooga, will begin Thursday, September 19, with tech inspection and rally school.
The fun will begin Friday morning with a rally to Tullahoma, Tennessee, and back. On Saturday, the Challenge will head northeast and will take part in the AACAs Southeastern Fall Meet in Cleveland, Tennessee, where more than 350 cars are expected. The event will end Sunday at lunch in the Coker Museum after a half-day rally in northwest Georgia.
Already, there are more than 40 pre-registered cars, including teams from as far away as Texas (two-time defending Great Race champions Barry and Irene Jason) and New York (2011 Great Race champions Howard and Doug Sharp).
Cut off for hotel reservations is Friday, September 6. The Staybridge is again the host hotel, so if you are coming and have not already done so, please call Crystal Wilson in our office at 423-648-8568 or email her at [email protected].
