Wow! That’s all we can say about today’s route and host cities! Actually, we can say a lot more, because they were so awesome! We started our day in Hannibal, Missouri, headed south on Highway 61. After everyone got their speedometers dialed in for the day, they started on the clock with some scenic Missouri back roads. Rolling hills, farm land and lots of big tractors were highlights from the early action. Then, we stopped for lunch in Washington, Missouri, lining the streets with Great Racers and spectators! From there, it was quite a trek to our final destination of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. We saw many, many people watching from their porches, driveways and front yards, so it was a great treat for all of the residents of the “J road”, which is where we saw the most spectators. Finally, our stop in Cape G….WOW, what a turnout! It was by far one of the biggest stops in the past few years, and we really appreciate the folks in Cape for knocking one out of the park! BIG BIG BIG! Alright, enough talk…here are our favorite shots from the day!
