Chattanooga gave us a SUPER send off this morning. We had lots of folks visiting with us who liked seeing our cars. There was a special ceremony for our start and huge crowds to cheer as we left town. It is hard to describe the excitement when we start our cars and we are off on The Great Race.

We had a long day with a very challenging rally route. There were 6 cars who had mechanical problems and had to come in “on the trailer”. Fortunately Maxine did well even with the heat and the mountains. We were very pleased with our scores for the day
