While the Great Race is deep in competition, the folks on the Great American Tour are taking a similar route and taking in all the sights of Route 66. There were several great destinations on today’s agenda, and we enjoyed going through towns such as Shamrock, Texas on our way to the end of the day’s fun in Amarillo, Texas. Enjoy the photos from today’s adventure on the Great American Tour!
I am looking forward to seeing the cars in San Berdu.Looks like a fun trip. My 62 Tempest is insured by Hagerty.
The Great American Tour was amazing – the stops, the routes, the meals, the organizers. Everyone was very friendly and had their own interesting journey through life, leading them to join the Tour. Thanks for the mention.
The 2015 Great American Tour was truly an experience for the lifetime! It was fast paced, but really a trip one will never forget. All the people we traveled with were friendly and really into the spirit of exploring the adventures that touring Rte 66 offered! Casey Cunningham, Kendra Jolly and Herb Clark did a fantastic job of organizing and herding 25 couples with vintage cars across Rte 66. I’m looking forward to the next Great American Tour.
