In case you missed it, the 2014 Hemmings Motor News Great Race presented by Hagerty TV show can now be watched anytime on the internet. The show was a huge success, but now that the airings on television are complete it has been posted on the internet. Two crews filmed every step of the way for the 104 teams from Maine to Florida, and what they captured made for a compelling show.
It features all teams and highlights racers Humpy Wheeler and the two Hagerty teams of Jonathan Klinger and Davin Rackow and Tabetha Hammer and Samantha Bonter. And it chronicles the battle for Grand Champion between Barry and Irene Jason in their 1966 Mustang and Jeff and Eric Fredette in their 1933 Ford pickup truck. It can now be viewed 24 hours a day from anywhere in the world on the Great Races YouTube channel.
The 2015 Great Race, which beings June 20 in Kirkwood, Missouri, will also be filmed by the crews of Jason White and Wallace Braud, marking the fifth straight year they have documented the event. An announcement will be coming soon about the airing of the 2015 race.
