What a day! We’re exhausted, but for all the right reasons. We started the day with an all-hands-on-deck meeting that went over some of the very important details of our journey. Then, it was time for Rally School, hosted by John Classen, the Rally Master. The meetings and school took place inside the beautiful Ogunquit Playhouse, where we saw George H.W. Bush yesterday. From there, it was time for the Hagerty Trophy Run, which is essentially a warm up rally to get ready for nine days of rallying fun. We saw some incredible scores, and the best score of the day came from a Sportsman team, which is extremely rare. After it all wrapped up we had a great Opening Banquet at the Beachmere Inn, which was fantastic. Great food, great company and a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean made for an awesome evening. Check out our favorite photos from the day, and stay tuned for LOTS of great action when the race officially kicks off tomorrow on Beach Street in Ogunquit!
At the Opening Banquet, Bob Varsha and Wayne Carini joined the fun, and we also welcomed Coker Group Chief Operating Officer and President, Wade Kawasaki to Ogunquit, Maine. We had a blast, and even heard a few NASCAR stories from Humpy Wheeler, so you can certainly consider today’s festivities a great success. Add to that an incredibly perfect day, in terms of weather, and you have a great way to get the racers and staff geared up for the big day tomorrow!
Congrats to all participants in the Great Race… looking forward to having Jeff Stromb and Wayne Carini join us this morning on Bobby Likis Car Clinic…am anxious to share the stories with our Globalcast listeners & viewers. We drive down to The Villages in Cadillac’s ELR June 28 to join the fun. Good Luck to All!
Would love to view all of you passing thru Ga. Will you be on route 17 from Savannah?
Thanks. S. Larson

On Tuesday, June 23, you are scheduled to have lunch in Millsboro, DE. When you leave there, I suppose you will travel RT 113S. Will you continue on RT113S until you reach RT 13S in Pocomoke City, MD, or do plan an alternate route? I have a 96 year old Father-In-Law who would love to see the old cars and was wondering where he could view them. He lives on RT 13S about 8 miles south of the MD/VA border in Temperanceville, VA. Thanks!
