Coker Tire is the world’s leading supplier of tires and wheels for collector vehicles, and it’s been a huge supporter of the Great Race for many years. Owner, Corky Coker has poured his heart and soul into developing tires over the past 40 years, and he has a similar passion for the Great Race family. Having long been a partner with our event, Coker Tire is the Official Tire of the Great Race. A large majority of the participants use Coker products on their rally vehicles because the tires and wheels are safe and reliable, and Coker has period correct choices for vehicles built from the 1900’s through the 1970’s.
Coker’s product offerings ranges from period correct bias ply tires to modern-sized radials, in many styles to fit vintage vehicles. Whitewalls, redlines, raised white letters and more are available, and Coker also has a couple of “bias look radial” tires, which are revolutionary! The Excelsior Stahl Sport Radial has been around for a few years, and it’s a favorite among rally participants, as its sizing is geared toward Pre-WWII cars. The new American Classic bias look radial whitewall tire is fresh off the drawing board and it’s geared toward late ’40s, ’50s and early ’60s cars, so it should be an instant favorite as well.
