More than two dozen current and former Great Racers were at the Concours of America July 28 at St. Johns in Michigan, including two-time Grand Champion Rex Gardner and his 1935 Ford three-window coupe. The concours featured a Great Race Class and 10 cars from around the country were there. There were more than 275 cars in the concours in more than two dozen categories. Rex won the Great Race in 1998 and 1999, and was the last repeat Grand Champion until Barry and Irene Jason pulled it off in 2012 and 2013.
A beautiful car, a true gentleman and great friend. Good to see ya Rex!
