Day 2 of the Great Race Spring Rally presented by Stahls Automotive Collection sent us back into familiar territory, but with a whole new set of instructions to tackle the mostly flat and rural terrain. Today’s weather was much more comfortable than yesterday, although a noticeable chill came as we approached Lake Huron. We had a great lunch stop at the Wills Sainte Claire Automobile Museum, a hidden gem in Marysville, Michigan. This museum tells the story of C. Harold Wills and his desire to build his own car after working with Henry Ford. After a quick meal and a lap around the museum, we hit the road again, navigating the back roads on our way to our hosted evening stop at the Stahls Automotive Collection in Chesterfield. Lots of locals came out to welcome the racers, and we had an outstanding meal, surrounded by one of the most beautiful collections in the world. Tomorrow, we wrap up the Spring Rally with a half-day competition, and we’ll crown the winners during our awards banquet. Stay tuned for more!
Thank you for the great pics, especially of car #9
