For those lucky enough to be on the 2018 Great Race from Buffalo to Nova Scotia they will remember the overnight stop in Gardiner, Maine. That’s the hometown of Peter Prescott and Gardiner was the winner of the Best Overnight stop because of the hospitality, the turnout by the community, the lobster for dinner and the fireworks. And many got a chance to take a peak at Peter’s incredible car collection, mostly flathead Fords. But there are some other makes in there, too. And a TV show called “Crusin’ New England” featured Peter and some his Chevrolets last week. Click the link to watch the show and occasionally see Peter’s 1948 Ford Great Race vehicle in the background (you can skip the opening commercials by jumping to the 3:10 mark).
Peter is a true Icon in the great state of Maine!
Fabulous video! Makes me want to look for more of Cruisin New England. I’m in Atlanta, Ga.
