Olivia Gentry comes from a racing family, as her father Oliver is a veteran dirt track racer and her mother Beth is a Great Race Grand Champion. The 19-year-old from Newnan, Georgia has the commitment and determination to find the winner’s circle wherever she races, whether she’s meticulously driving a nine-day journey across 2,300 miles, or sliding sideways on a 3/8-mile clay oval. Almost one year ago, she and her younger sister Genna won the Expert Division in the Hemmings Motor News Great Race presented by Hagerty, and Olivia most recently earned her first career victory in dirt track racing over the weekend. She races in the Charger division, and took first place honors against a tough field at Senoia Raceway. Although no fans were allowed in the grandstands due to precautionary measures regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, the roar of excitement from Olivia’s family and crew rivaled that of a packed house. A proud moment for a passionate and very competitive racing family, this is one of many milestones already achieved by this young racer. Congratulations!
