For the first time ever, a Maserati will compete in the Great Race on the route from Jacksonville, Florida to Traverse City, Michigan from June 24-July 2, 2017. It is a 1950 Maserati A6 1500PF Berlinetta and it has quite a history, including competing in the 2016 Mille Miglia in Italy earlier this year.

The drivers will be Don Polak and John Groomes and the navigator will be Tom Smith. All are rookies in the Great Race and they are from Nashville, Tennessee. We will be spotlighting other interesting vehicles in the 2017 Great Race over the next few months.
