We just got the latest edition of Hemmings Classic Car and Hemmings Sport & Exotic and the new full page Great Race ad is in both of them. This is the first time the new ad has been published, and it lists all 17 lunch and overnight promoted stops for the 2017 event from Jacksonville, Florida to Traverse City, Michigan. The overnight stops are in red and are in a little larger type than the lunch stops. The race starts on Saturday, June 24, and ends on Sunday, July 2.

The overnight stops include: Jacksonville, Florida, Tifton, Georgia, Chattanooga, Tennessee, Bowling Green, Kentucky, Franklin, Indiana, Auburn, Indiana, Ypsilanti, Michigan, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, and Traverse City, Michigan.

The lunch stops include: Newnan, Georgia, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, French Lick, Indiana, Wapakoneta, Ohio, Hickory Corners, Michigan, Chesterfield, Michigan, and Alpena, Michigan.

There will also be two pit stops for racers along the way that will be highlighted in the coming weeks and months. The first is at Great Race Wayne Vick’s collection in Armuchee, Georgia on Sunday, June 25, between the lunch stop in Newnan, Georgia, and the overnight stop in Chattanooga. The second is the Hudson Auto Museum and collection of the late Eldon Hostetler in Shipshewana, Indiana on Thursday, June 29.
